The Border Museum welcomes visitors in the summer

The Border Museum in Immola garrison area in Imatra is once again open for visitors in the summer.

The Border Museum’s main exhibition, Guardians of Finland – The Border Guard in the heart of border security then and now, has been updated, in other words, there is a lot to see for both new and old museum guests. 

The exhibition presents border guard’s work throughout the Border Guard history. We tell about border security and linking phenomena and how they have changed the Border Guard’s operations throughout the years. Moreover, you have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Border Guard’s aviation personnel as life savers, as well as with the history of war time border troops.
