The Border and Coast Guard Academy is an educational institution of the Finnish Border Guard that operates in Imatra and Turku. This internationally networked educational institution provides instruction related to border and maritime safety and performs research. The Border and Coast Guard Academy is also a partner institution of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex).

The Border and Coast Guard Academy provides basic, further and continuing education for Finnish Border Guard staff and continuing education for cooperation authorities. Education is provided in Finnish and Swedish. The Border and Coast Guard Academy is responsible for the national recruitment of border guards and the special border jaeger training provided to Border Guard conscripts.
