Ministry of the Interior to prepare restrictions at eastern border under Border Guard Act

The Ministry of the Interior is preparing a proposal for the Government session on the restriction measures to be carried out on the eastern border in accordance with Section 16 of the Border Guard Act.

Furthermore, Finland has informed the competent Russian authorities through official channels that it is not allowed to cross the border on a bicycle at any of the border crossing points on the eastern border from 15.11.2023 at 00:00 onwards. The restriction is valid until further notice.
