The Border Guard has continued the implementation of the strategy with determination.

Research and development operations of the Border Guard have been developed as a part of strategic management. Management leans on knowledge and reasoned analysis of it. 

We have actively carried out research, development and innovations operations in our strategic projects. Strategic evidence-based management will be linked to planning process, as well as to core processes, in the coming years. At the same time, we enable experimental development.

In accordance with the Border Guard strategy 2030, research and development operations further anticipation of the operational environment. Evidence-based management and development of the competence of our personnel are in a key role in responding to changes in the operational environment.
